About Us
Beautiful kitchens. Thoughtful details. A home that feels like you.
At Abode & Nest, we believe a kitchen should look good, work hard and feel welcoming every day. It is where the morning starts, where people gather and where ordinary moments become part of home life. Our aim is to help you create that space with quality kitchen units, considered finishes and practical fittings, all with value in mind.
Whether you are planning a complete renovation, replacing tired cabinet doors or adding the finishing touches, we bring the essentials together so you can build a kitchen around your home, your style and the way you live.
Extensive industry experience
Behind Abode & Nest is a team with extensive experience in the kitchen and fittings industry. That experience shapes how we approach our range: looking beyond the door finish to the construction, components and everyday details that make a kitchen enjoyable to use.
Based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, Abode & Nest brings together industry knowledge and a passion for thoughtfully designed homes. Our background in kitchen and bedroom components gives us a practical understanding of how the different parts of a project fit together, from cabinets and hinges to drawer systems, handles and storage.
We bring that knowledge to an online shopping experience built around choice and clear product information. Our focus is on helping you find a combination that suits your project, whether you already know exactly what you need or are still comparing styles and finishes.
A kitchen to suit your style
Every home is different. Some call for the familiar character of a Shaker kitchen; others suit clean slab doors or a streamlined handleless design. Our five core ranges give you different ways to create a coordinated look.
- Cotswold: classic Shaker styling in versatile super matt finishes, bringing warmth and character to traditional and contemporary homes. Explore Cotswold doors.
- Mayfair: simple slab fronts with super matt colour options and a Woodgrain Oak Veneer option, for a calm, modern look or a warmer natural feel. Explore Mayfair doors.
- Como: integrated J Pull handles and super matt finishes for a contemporary kitchen with clean lines and understated colour. Explore Como doors.
- Milano: handleless J Pull styling with a reflective high gloss finish, giving modern kitchens a bright, polished appearance. Explore Milano doors.
- Henley: flat slab fronts in high gloss finishes, offering a simple contemporary foundation to pair with your choice of handles and worktops. Explore Henley doors.
From soft neutrals to deeper statement colours, you can choose a finish that complements your space and combine it with the worktops and details that make the design your own.
From complete kitchens to a fresh new look
A home improvement project does not always mean starting from scratch. Our kitchen units include options for complete projects, while our replacement doors and panels offer a way to refresh suitable existing cabinetry. We also offer flatpack cabinets for customers putting together their own combination of units and fronts.
Alongside cabinetry, you will find worktops, cabinet handles, hinges and kitchen accessories to help complete the room. Bringing these elements together lets you consider the whole kitchen, from its overall appearance to the smaller details you use every day.
Practical details that make a difference
A well-planned kitchen makes daily routines easier. A useful drawer layout, accessible cupboard storage and a discreet place for recycling can make just as much difference as a new colour scheme.
Our storage solutions and cabinet waste bins help you make better use of the space available. Explore options for organising cupboards, drawers, corners and larders, and choose fittings suited to your cabinet dimensions and needs.
Quality and value, considered together
We know a kitchen is an important purchase. Our approach is to bring together appealing design, practical product choices and accessible pricing, so you can concentrate your budget on the features that matter most to you.
Clear specifications are part of that approach. Dimensions, finishes, cabinet options and included components help you compare products and plan your order. If you are unsure about a detail, get in touch before ordering so we can help you check the relevant product information.
People you can talk to
Shopping online should still feel personal. You can contact our team with questions about products or an existing order, and find useful information on our delivery and returns pages as you plan your purchase.
Whether you are choosing your first kitchen, updating a family home or working with a fitter on a renovation, we want you to feel comfortable asking questions and making informed choices.
